In October 2018, renowned polar explorer Charlie Paton will set off to make history, by becoming the first to ski solo across Antarctica, unsupported and unassisted. It will also close a chapter on a 100 year old famous journey, which to this day has never been completed. A world’s first, to fulfil Sir Ernest Shackleton’s 1914-1917 Imperial Trans Antarctica Expedition dream. And in doing so celebrate one of the worlds greatest endurance, survival and leadership stories.
